Journal Policies
We consider quality the core of the work of The Ibn Sina Sirte Medical Journal. By working with integrity and transparency, we seek to build ideal academic relationships with authors and peer reviewers alike.
Journal Undertakings
The journal undertakes the following:
- No fees for submitting papers in the research submission system.
- Never ask authors to pay an APC for publication prior to acceptance.
- Never publish works in exchange for gifts or money.
- Never falsely claim to represent another person or entity.
- Never use your data without consent.
Authorship
An author is anyone involved with initial research design, data collection and analysis, manuscript drafting, and final approval. The primary author assumes responsibility for the accuracy of data and approval of co-authors.
Screening for Plagiarism
Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin. Papers leading to plagiarism will be immediately rejected until addressed.
Data Sharing
The journal requests authors to make data underlying the findings available, protecting participant confidentiality. We adopt the data-sharing policy recommended by the AERA Council Code of Ethics.
Publication & Indexing
The journal provides immediate open access to its content. Published articles are listed in major databases:
