Peer Review Process

The Ibn Sina Sirte Medical Journal is constantly striving to make the publishing experience smooth and flexible. Manuscripts pass through standard stages where they are reviewed by expert peer professors, ending with publication in an internationally indexed database.

The journal uses a Double-Blind Review Process: reviewer and author identities are kept confidential from each other.

Publication Priorities

High priority is given to manuscripts that mark a significant advancement:

  • Focusing on under-researched aspects of the field.
  • Focusing on countries or contexts about which little is known.
  • Using under-utilized theories, new frameworks, or methodologies.
  • Joining theory and research.

Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

  • Significance: A clear and demonstratively significant advancement.
  • Review of Literature: Well-organized analytical review and clear theoretical framework.
  • Research Design: Appropriate design, methodology, and high-quality analysis.
  • Discussion: Relevance of findings for research, policy, and practice.
  • Style: Clarity, logic, and adherence to APA guidelines.
